System Requirements WinGroupware 2011/2012

Due the Fact that WinGroupware can technically be installed as distributed System over multiple Servers, the given Values could differ from the real Requirements.

Minimum Requirement: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. You should install the Windows Operating System and then upgrade *all* available Patches and Servicepacks to ensure that the Mail Server will work like a charm.

Windows XP (all Editions), Windows 2003 Server (all Editions), Windows 7 (all Editions), Windows 2008 (all Editions), Home Server Versions

Recommended Memory

Depending on the Amount of Users and the Amount of Messages which should be handled, we recommend as absolute Minimum 1 GB RAM. Better are 4+ GB RAM for midsized Installations.

Network- / Internet

Network-/Internet-Access with a static IP or dynamic IP Address (static IP Address recommended).

Processor

Intel Pentium Dual Core or higher, dependent by the Size of the Mailboxes and the Number of created Accounts.

Notes

Small Installations (up to 25/30 Users) run very well on a little Intel Atom-D System with Windows 2003 Server and 2 GB RAM.
